E3 is coming up so I’m a little game-obsessed at the moment, don’t mind me.
The above images are from Kotaku’s awesome post on the setting up of the best video game convention that I have never attended (and possibly never will? it almost died last year, and could die again…). I didn’t love Final Fantasy XII, or X, but I must confess that I am so, so incredibly psyched for FFXIII. I love waiting for FF games to come out, and it hasn’t happened in foreverrr.
Also this post makes me drool.
AND another thing.
I played Rock Band tonight with my brother and sister for the first time in awhile. I used to be really really good at Guitar Hero, and Rock Band is way easier, but I still did SO shittily tonight. 
I partly blame my lack of practice, to be fair, but ALSO the strum bar on the Rock Band guitar is so fucked up! It has a part at the end that goes out, and is rounded, as opposed to the straight, angular strum bar on the Guitar Hero guitar (at least the one that I have, I don’t know about the newer ones). So basically the rounded part jams into my thumb, making it actually painful to play. So then when I get like 80% on a song that I would have gotten 99% on in Guitar Hero, I look bad!
Also Rock Band is good for drums, but the guitar parts SUCK. For some reason, they’re all very rhythm-guitar-esque, and therefore boring. And painful for my thumb. 
I’m always the singer when we play rock band, I’ve accepted the fact that those guitars hate me. Singing is more fun anyway.

Ahh I’m a total Final Fantasy VII (compilation) junkie, but I’m still looking forward to the new FFXIII … I’m actually waiting for ‘Versus’ because the guys in it are HOT
I’ve decided to read through all the news of E3 during the weekend. I don’t think I can concentrate on daily life when I’m following all the updates of E3 in real time*gulp* I’ve already heard about the new MGS Rising for Xbox only 
and seen footage of Assassin’s Creed 2 – my heart started to beat faster, so hufff not so good. The Sony press conference will start in about 3 hours and 20 minutes 
I love to check out the latest news of upcoming releases, but it sure makes waiting for those games even harder … 
That’s actually a good idea, maybe I should wait for the weekend to listen to the 20394823084 hours of podcasts about E3 that I’m going to want to listen to…. I’m psyched for MGS Rising b/c I haven’t ever played MGS and I don’t have a ps3. Figure maybe it’ll be a good entry point? Maybe?
