What happens when me & my tired roommates try to watch a movie.

The internet=more interesting

I swear this was not posed at all.

Except for the part where I asked Jake to take the picture and then we didn’t move after that until it was done.

The movie we were trying to watch was The Dark Knight, which is probably very good but during the work week is just not a good time to focus on a long serious film.

Oh! And Betsy pointed out that I spelled “paid” wrong in the title of my last post. Because I iz dumb. Also I just have trouble spelling paid. And skeleton. That’s a toughie.

  1. Looks like a party at my place.

Is that a lime bud light? yummm

  2. LMAO. That’s fucking hilarious dude.

  3. I love love love your website name!!

I took a very similar picture of that pose once not too long ago, three of us were all were sitting on a couch with our laptops, except the 3rd one was reading a book upside down lol. Instead of actually being serious and candid, we “tried” to look like serious students. Yeah right..

  4. :spin: Hehehe that photo sure brought a smile to my face. It kinda reminds me of my roommate and me (when I still lived in Leiden). We both had our laptops out and friends commented the place started to look very nerdy  But … did you watch the movie on 3 seperate laptops at the same time or … ?

  5. Thats a cute picture! :D Looks like something my friends would do too. I love the Dark Knight..the only part that saddens me is the fact that Heath Ledger plays the joker :( I cried so hard when I found out he was dead. I really don’t want them to make a new movie but I heard Johnny Depp is suppose to play the riddler

I don’t like Adam Sandler much either but I like his older movies when he actually knew how to act and be funny

  6. Haha, surround/lateral sound?

  7. lol! I have been in many similar situations involving laptops and intended socialisation.

  8. :oh: :yesbubble:

I “SO” know what’s like. I swear, the computer seems to be the BEST thing when you’re watching a movie. Or beginning to anyways. I can multi-task I promise (= *winks*.

  9. My boyfriend and I tend to watch movies “through” our laptop screens, too! I’m sure if someone snapped a picture of us on a given night it’d look a lot like that…except just one girl (me) and him. I am the type of person that can watch a movie while checking my Facebook, so it works for me!

What’s worse…sometimes the boyfriend and I will talk on AIM to each other, sitting across the room. Yep, lazy. Haha.

    Cute blog!
    -M.

  10. I guess it’s comforting to know that this happens to other people too, not just myself and my own roommate. We sit in front of the TV, and simultaneously do things with our laptops.

Got something to say?
