First, I wanted to laugh because you drew a diagram that included your finger as a reference, the baby and then how the baby split apart. Secondly, it was sad because you remember in the dream trying to fix it and realizing you couldn't. Hm...did you happen to eat some spicy food before going to bed?! I've heard that can make for some wild and weird dreams... I can't even begin to try to interpret such a dream-- well, let me give it a go. If you have something really big going on in your life, maybe you're trying to protect it or secure it so it doesn't crumble. You especially don't want it to fall apart because you would feel responsible for it and realize that there's nothing that can be done to fix it.
